Do you and the members of your household have a plan to vote in the November 5 election?

Ensuring that you and all eligible in your home are ready to vote in the November election is an important part of participating in our democracy! Right now is the best time to make sure college students (age 18 on/before Nov 5) and anyone else who will be away from home is prepared.
(1) Are you/they registered?
(2) Have you/they submitted an absentee ballot application (available now!)?
(3) Have you/they purchased a stamp to return the absentee ballot (this may seem small, but believe me, it can be a deterrent)? Or do you have a plan for a family member to return it?

Register to vote:
Register online to vote with a driver’s license, learner’s permit, or DMV-issued ID; or register in person at the at the Registrar’s office; or register by mail. Confirm your voter registration and get voter registration info at (https://tinyurl.com/r77zkme9) .
Register for an absentee ballot:
Absentee ballot applications for the Nov 5 election are available online now – complete the absentee ballot application online (with a driver license, learner’s permit, or DMV-issued ID) at (https://tinyurl.com/bdhph22d); or submit a paper application to the Town Clerk in person or by mail (paper application is here: (https://tinyurl.com/t2vvb5). Submit the Absentee ballot application now, and the actual ballot for voting will be mailed to you on October 4.
Return the ballot:
The completed ballot must be received by the Town Clerk by the end of day on Election Day if returned by mail - make sure to afix a stamp to the envelope! Alternatively, a voter's immediate family/qualified designee may also return a ballot. The ballot must be received by the day before Election Day if returned by the voter in-person.
Consider voting early:
Early voting will be Oct 21 – Nov 3 from 10am – 6pm, and October 29 & 31 from 8am – 8pm in the Registrar’s office.
